The cycling region is home to GPS tours for mountainbikes, road bikes, bicycles and e-bikes, signposted routes and pumptracks. Whether a steep climb, cosy flat sections or delightful single trails, the varied topography is a unique biking experience for every riding style.
Leisure golfers and ambitious professionals will delight in the two nearby 18-hole golf courses at Interlaken-Unterseen and Thun. The fairways are both diverse and challenging. Enjoy watching your ball fly against the magical backdrop of the mountains as you tee off.
As you might expect, many water sports are possible in and on Lake Thun: Wakeboarding, water skiing, wind-surfing or sailing.
You can bathe far from the crowds at the Hotel and use the Hotel’s own equipment such as canoe, row boat, stand-up paddle or pedal boat.
For our tennis friends there is a hard court in Merligen and well-maintained clay courts in Oberhofen, reachable within 10 to 15 minutes by car and embedded in dreamlike surroundings in the forest or directly at the lake. You can book the tennis courts with us for free play or for tennis lessons with designated coaches.
