What is included in
each ticket?
Spa admission: 2 hours of access to the outdoor spa and indoor pool.
Classic Spa and Sauna World: Erlebnis-Frei-Solbad, Indoor Pool, and Classic Sauna World.
Day Spa: Depending on the package: free access to the adventure spa, sauna, dining, lounge chairs, towel rental, or treatments; see the respective package for details.
Important:
The Classic Sauna World is not automatically included with admission to the Solbad. It can be booked separately and is open on weekdays starting at 2:00 p.m.
Solbad
on Lake Thun
The Frei-Solbad experience pool is the centerpiece of BEATUS for day visitors. The warm saltwater, the view of the lake and mountains, and the peaceful location right on the water create a brief respite with a vacation-like atmosphere.
The natural brine in the outdoor pool comes from Schweizerhalle. Its salinity is roughly equivalent to that of the Mediterranean Sea. The water temperature of 35 °C has a relaxing effect; massage jets, a standing whirlpool, and bubble loungers and benches provide gentle movement in the water.

In addition to the Frei-Solbad experience pool, our indoor pool is also available for your use. It is fed by Merlig spring water, is 8 meters wide and 16 meters long, and maintains a constant water temperature of 29 °C.
The indoor pool is ideal for leisurely swimming, short exercise sessions, and as a complement to the warm saltwater bath.
Classic Sauna World
If you’d like to add a sauna experience to your visit to the Solbad, book the Classic Sauna package. There, you’ll find various steam rooms, a sanarium, and a Finnish sauna. The sauna experience thrives on the alternation between warmth, relaxation, and cooling off in Lake Thun.
Please note: The Sauna Classic can be booked separately by day visitors and is not included in the standard Solbad admission.

Guidelines for Using the Sauna
The Classic Sauna is a mixed, clothing-optional area. For hygiene reasons, swimwear is not permitted in the sauna area. Teenagers between the ages of 16 and 18 may use the sauna area when accompanied by an adult.

Select an offer. Decide in advance whether you’d like to use only the saltwater pool or if you’d also like to include the sauna, dining, or day spa.
Please observe the time window. Admission to the mineral baths is limited to a specific time period. Please allow time for the locker room, showers, and check-out.
Clarify any additional services on site. Bathrobes, bath towels, treatments, and refreshments are not automatically included in every package.
Arrive and unwind. After checking in, enjoy your getaway at Lake Thun.
Light Cuisine
At the Le Palmier Wellness Café, you can enjoy light meals, fresh snacks, and beverages during your visit. Food and beverages are generally billed separately. Breakfast can be booked for CHF 19.– per person.

Enhance your day of relaxation with a massage, a beauty treatment, or a therapeutic session. Our therapists combine Far Eastern massage traditions with time-tested treatments from Switzerland.

and balcony
The fitness center at BEATUS complements your day of relaxation with modern workout options. Work out on Technogym equipment—whether for endurance, strength, or mobility. In addition, outdoor workout areas are available on the fitness balcony.
The fitness program is not included in the regular spa admission and can be booked separately.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to make a reservation for the saltwater bath?
No reservation is required on weekdays. On Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, limited online time slots are available between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. We recommend booking early at the Online Ticket Shop. Starting at 6 p.m., admission is again available without a reservation.
Where do I book my time slot for the Solbad?

Is the sauna included in the Solbad admission fee?
No. The basic saltwater pool admission includes access to the "Erlebnis-Frei-Solbad" and the indoor pool. The Classic Sauna can be booked separately.
When does the sauna open?
The Classic Sauna is open on weekdays starting at 2:00 p.m. Limited hours apply on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Please check the current opening hours before your visit.
Are bathrobes and bath towels included in the admission price?
Not included in the basic admission fee for the saltwater baths. Bathrobes and towels can be rented for a fee or may already be included, depending on the day spa package.
How long can I use the Sobad?
Admission to the mineral baths is valid for the time slot you booked. Please allow time to use the locker room.
Can I book a massage as a day guest?
Yes. Massages and beauty treatments can be booked separately.
Are there free admissions on the weekend?
Availability for day visitors is limited on weekends. We recommend booking online in advance or checking current availability.
Is the Solbad a thermal spa?
The Erlebnis-Frei-Solbad is a warm saltwater bath with natural brine. It is not a traditional thermal bath.
