Orangerie Restaurant & Bar

Classic cuisine with market-fresh products from the region: head chef Tim Adolphs and his team focus on varied and healthy food and take seasonal produce into account. For example, the whitefish comes directly from Lake Thun and the apples from the neighboring village of Gunten. At the BEATUS Wellness- & Spa-Hotel, health and pleasure form a single unit.

At the breakfast buffet in the Orangerie Restaurant & Bar you will find a wide selection of fresh products. Choose between pastries from the Fahrni bakery and gluten-free alternatives, yoghurts with or without lactose, fruit salad and muesli and freshly squeezed juices. The different types of cheese come from Willi Schmid in Toggenburg. We obtain the cold cuts from Ökohof Wisli. The eggs for the egg dishes come from Steffisburg and the smoked salmon from Lostallo.

Wine selection

Our wine selection is worth gold in the Swiss Wine List Award. We stock wines from Switzerland, Europe and the New World. In addition to classic red and white wines, we also serve orange wines. Our range of champagnes includes fine vintages. Of course, you can also enjoy the aperitif non-alcoholic. And we offer vegan wines for guests who do not eat animal products.

Drinks 

Homemade, insider tips from Switzerland and non-alcoholic drinks that are more than just an alternative – our bartenders invite you on a journey of discovery through the world of mock and cocktails, drinks and soft drinks. Inspired by our wellness philosophy, surprising signature drinks will be created for you from 3 p.m. onwards.

Fondue boat and hut

Wrapped in warm blankets, you can enjoy the fondue in our boat on Lake Thun. From the galley: regional dried meat specialties, homemade vermicelles and plenty of cheese. Or you enjoy the privacy of the lakeside terrace in our cosy fondue hut for two to six people.
