What is included
in each ticket?
Saltwater pool ticket: 2 hours' access to the outdoor saltwater pool and indoor pool.
Saltwater pool and Sauna world Classic: Outdoor saltwater pool, indoor pool and Sauna world Classic.
Day Spa: Depending on the package: open-air saltwater pool, sauna, culinary delights, loungers, towel hire or treatments; see the relevant package for details.
Important:
The Sauna world Classic is not automatically included in the saltwater pool ticket. It can be booked separately and is open on weekdays from 2 p.m.
Saltwater pool
on Lake Thun
The outdoor saltwater pool is the centrepiece of the BEATUS for day visitors. The warm salt water, the view of the lake and mountains, and the peaceful setting right by the water create a brief respite with a holiday feel.
The natural brine in the outdoor pool comes from Schweizerhalle. The salt content is roughly equivalent to that of the Mediterranean. The water temperature of 35 °C has a relaxing effect; massage jets, a standing whirlpool, and bubble loungers and benches provide gentle movement in the water.

Indoor pool with spring water from Merligen
In addition to the outdoor saltwater pool, our indoor pool is also available for your use. It is fed by spring water from Merligen, is 8 metres wide and 16 metres long, and maintains a constant water temperature of 29 °C.
The indoor pool is ideal for peaceful swimming, short exercise sessions and as a complement to the warm saltwater pool.
Sauna world Classic
If you’d like to enhance your visit to the saltwater pool with a sauna experience, book the Sauna Classic package. There you’ll find a variety of steam rooms, a sanarium and a Finnish sauna. The Sauna world thrives on the contrast between warmth, tranquillity and a refreshing dip in Lake Thun.
Please note: The Sauna Classsic can be booked separately by day visitors and is not included in the standard saltwater pool ticket.

Information regarding sauna use
The Classic Sauna is a mixed, textile-free area. For hygiene reasons, swimwear is not permitted in the sauna area. Young people aged between 16 and 18 may use the sauna area when accompanied by an adult.

The Day Spa package is the perfect choice if you’d like to spend a whole day at BEATUS – not just for a dip – with options including a mineral bath, sauna, culinary delights, sun loungers, a bathrobe, towels and other amenities, depending on the package.

Choose a package. Decide in advance whether you’d like to use just the saltwater pool, or whether you’d like to include the sauna, dining or day spa.
Please note the time slot. Admission to the saltwater bath is time-limited. Please also allow time for changing, showering and check-out.
Clarify additional services on site. Bathrobes, towels, treatments and refreshments are not automatically included in every package.
Arrive and unwind. After check-in, enjoy your break by Lake Thun.
Light cuisine
At the Wellness Café Le Palmier, you can enjoy light meals, fresh snacks and drinks during your visit. Food and drink are generally charged separately. Breakfast can be booked for CHF 19 per person.
Some day spa packages already include food and drink. Please refer to the details of the relevant package.
BEATUS cuisine stands for light, fresh and delicious food – perfect for a day of wellness by the lake.
Massages and beauty
Enhance your day of relaxation with a massage, a beauty treatment or a therapeutic session. Our therapists combine Far Eastern massage traditions with tried-and-tested treatments from Switzerland.
Please book your treatments well in advance, as availability is limited.
Fitness studio

The BEATUS gym offers modern training facilities to complement your day’s relaxation. Work out on Technogym equipment – whether for cardio, strength or general fitness. There are also outdoor training areas available on the fitness balcony.
Use of the gym is not included in the standard spa admission fee and can be booked separately.

From the age of 16, training without supervision is permitted.
Sportswear and indoor trainers are required to use the gym.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to book the Saltwater pool?
No booking is required during the week. On Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, limited online time slots are available between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. We recommend booking in advance via the online ticket shop. From 6 p.m. onwards, entry is again possible without a booking.

Is the sauna included in the saltwater pool admission price?
No. Standard saltwater pool admission includes the saltwater pool and indoor pool. The Classic Sauna can be booked separately.
What time does the sauna open?
The Classic Sauna is open on weekdays from 2 p.m. Restricted opening hours apply on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Please check the current opening hours before your visit.
Are bathrobes and towels included in the admission price?
Not in the standard saltwater pool admission. Bathrobes and towels can be hired for a fee or may already be included depending on the day spa package.
How long can I use the saltwater pool?
Admission to the saltwater pool is valid for the booked time slot. Please allow time for changing.
Can I book a massage as a day guest?
Yes. Massages and beauty treatments can be booked separately.
Are there free admissions at the weekend?
Availability for day visitors is limited at weekends. We recommend booking online in advance or checking current availability.
Is the saltwater pool a thermal spa?
The saltwater pool is a warm saltwater pool containing natural brine. It is not a traditional thermal spa.
