Hatha Yoga developed in India in the late Middle Ages from the philosophical and religious movement of Tantrism. The lessons include physical, breathing and meditation exercises. Hatha yoga forms the basis of most modern yoga styles.
Vinyasa Flow Yoga is a mixture of dynamic and powerful movements, correct alignment and individually adapted postures. The breathing flows synchronously and rhythmically with the body movements. A lesson can also include meditation and singing.
Yin and Yang Yoga teaches you to balance body and mind. Yang stands for the active and moving principle; Yin stands for devotion and calm. Dynamic movement sequences are alternated with static exercises.
Meditation teaches us to consciously direct our attention in order to expand our consciousness. This enables us to deal better with hectic and stressful situations and face everyday life with joy.
