Qigong-Retreat 

Physical and mental health is one of our most valuable assets. Working with and on this and feeling the energy that fills our life strengthens the body and mind. Qigong plays a central role in traditional Chinese medicine, with the goal of promoting health. «Qi» means «energy» and «gong» stands for «work». Translated from the Chinese, qigong is thus working with life energy.

The retreat will be held from 07 to 10 September 2023. Programmes are subject to change.

The combination of physical exercise and meditation is what interests me in qigong. Everything becomes meditation; not only sitting but standing and moving as well. I treasure the variety and totality of the method. The exercises in the standing position fascinate me through their unexpectedly strong effect with minimum movement. The forms of motion with the slow and flowing movements are typical for qigong and also have an aesthetic effect. The relaxation exercises in the sitting position promote mental depth and expansion. For me, qigong is a journey of discovery to myself - best practised with much enjoyment and humour.

11:00 Qigong: Inner exercises
12:30 Small lunch followed by free time for wellness, short hikes, etc.
